Helping with Hats AND Chocolate!
Loonie by loonie, over the past week our students raised just over $500 to help a family in need over the Christmas Holidays. Nathan Saunders (centre) won the giant chocolate Santa and Hudson Leadlay (left) and Farrah Villeneuve (right) won the Purdy's chocolate gift baskets, all donated by the French Immersion parents group. Farrah was also the winner of the guess-how-many-candies-in-the-jar contest. On Wednesday, students were also allowed to break the rules and wear a hat/toque/hoodie on the condition that they pay $2.00 towards the cause. We've said it before and we'll say it again, we're #teamawesome!!!
Merry Christmas! Classes resume on Tuesday, January 4th.
