Mornings at TAN: September 10, 2021
Mornings are fun here at T.A. Norris. When the supervisors are ready at 8:25, the hallway lights go on and children can head to their lockers, play games in the library, hang out in the hallways with their friends, grab a snack from the breakfast window, find a quiet place to read, or work independently in their classrooms. We'll open up the gymnasium after Thanksgiving, but for now the outdoor basketball court is a great way to burn off some energy before heading to class at 8:48 a.m.
Last Day of School: June 25, 2021
Our last day of school on Friday was a blast! Thank you to the Peace River Fire Department for providing a fabulous sprinkler system to keep our kiddos cool in the hot sun. Here's hoping all our T.A. Norris families have a wonderful summer with lots of great memories to bring back to us at the end of August. Keep smiling, keep laughing, and keep learning.

Congratulations to all!
Bus Driver Appreciation Day: May 7, 2021
Provincial Bus Driver Appreciation Day was officially on May 4, but since Monday was a PD Day, we waited until today to pass out little tokens of thanks to the dedicated drivers who bring our students safely to and from school each day. It's been a challenging year for everyone and we are so thankful for our bus drivers. Although it was Mr. Pittman and Mr. Guey who had the pleasure of chatting with each of them at the end of the day, the sentiment comes from all of us at T.A. Norris Middle School: THANK YOU FOR YOUR MILES AND MILES OF SERVICE!

A gift from Northern Sunrise County: Nov 2, 2020
Riley from Grade 7 shows off the handy cutlery set he and every student in the school received today, thanks to a grant from Northern Sunrise County. The sets will help reduce the waste of single-use plastics as students will be able to wash them after each lunch and store them in their lockers for use all year long. A big thank you from all of us to Carolyn Kolebaba (Reeve) Corinna Williams (Deputy Reeve) and councillors Audrey Gall, Dan Boisvert, and Gaylene Whitehead for approving our donation request.
